Faster, lighter, more capable: the Stereo Hybrid ONE55 C:68X SLX 750 29 blends the mountain-taming capability of a downhill-oriented machine with the speed and agility of the lightest-ever carbon hybrid intube full-suspension frame to create a versatile all-rounder. With up to 85Nm of torque from the proven fourth-generation Bosch CX drive, a 750Wh battery and intuitive control from the built-in controller and optional remote, it’s got the power to take on any trail. Up front there’s a 160mm RockShox Lyrik Select+ fork, and we fitted a Super Deluxe Select+ shock at the rear for 150mm of progressive travel. Fast-rolling Newmen Performance wheels are shod with Maxxis Assegai 2.5in and Minion DHR II 2.4in tyres and brought to a halt with Magura’s powerful four-piston hydraulic disc brakes and oversize rotors at both ends. FRAME Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE55 C:68X SLX 750 29

Light weight. Speed. Integration. These are the defining qualities of the new Stereo Hybrid ONE55 C:68X, which makes use of up to six different fibre types to meet the specific demands of each part of the frame. The result is a chassis that’s the lightest e-mtb intube frame CUBE has ever built – up to 20% lighter compared to the Stereo Hybrid 140 frame – combined with best-ever stiffness and, as you’d expect, a superior ride. An adjustable head angle and longer reach contribute to handling that more confident riders will love, serving up a cut-and-paste feel that enables tricky line choices even at speed thanks to 150mm of progressive rear wheel travel. Full internal cable routing reduces clutter and maintenance, and Bosch’s new controller is neatly housed inside the top tube and can be controlled via Bluetooth from the optional remote. It’s the complete package.

Technologies

Efficient Trail Control
CUBE’s Efficient Trail Control series works in the background so that everyone can have more fun on the trail. A low leverage ratio and linear compression rate are the technical way of saying that these bikes are very sensitive to trail obstacles, whilst remaining insensitive to pedal-induced bob and giving a full range of travel.

Advanced Twin Mold
With the Advanced Twin Mold process CUBE use two precisely manufactured forms for their C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.

Agile Trail Geometry
Agile Trail Geometry is a development of the popular and well received Agile Ride Geometry, with a focus on riders who enjoy pushing their limits on the trails. By lowering standover height and allowing more room for the rider to move around over the bike, CUBE has created a setup that rewards adventurous line choices. Because, after all, it’s all about having fun.

Fully Integrated Battery
The Fully Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch’s battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike’s downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.

C:68X® Carbon Fiber Technology
Combining all our expertise from carbon frame building into the ultimate material, C:68X® carbon uses the optimum blend of fibre and nano particle-infused resin. Precision Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing means Cube can avoid bonded sleeves or inserts, too. It’s the new benchmark for light, stiff and strong.

Advanced Internal Cable Routing
Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? CUBE came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

Modular Battery System
In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That’s why, with its Modular Battery System, CUBE has made a setup that’s easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and we’ve made room for even high capacity batteries. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Universal Derailleur Hanger
One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains.
